Bill Baird played for the New York Jets in the AFL. Baird was a defensive back, who also was a punt return specialist and was voted one of the top 50 all-time NY Jets by ESPN. He helped completely shut down the Baltimore Colts' passing game in Super Bowl III, still considered one of the greatest upsets in sports history. On the outer crotch piece is the “MacGregor” manufacturer’s tag with size “46”. Adjacent is a wash instructions label. Player number “46” appears on both the front and back in white tackle twill. Player number “46” appears on both sleeves in green tackle twill. Player name “BAIRD” appears across the back in white tackle twill on a green nameplate. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use with numerous large team repairs throughout the shirt.
