This size 11.5, base metal salesman’s sample ring weighs 29 grams. The top panel reads “NEW YORK JETS 1968 WORLD CHAMPIONS” surrounding a translucent green acrylic face with seven synthetic diamonds in a football-shaped setting. The right panel features a banner engraved with the player name “NAMATH” above the casted image of a Jets helmet, a football with the player number “12” and a smaller banner engraved with the word “POISE”. The left panel features a banner engraved to read “SUPER BOWL - JETS 16 - COLTS 7” above the casted image of the “AFL” logo, a large outline of the number “1”, “CHAMPS”, the “NFL shield, an additional banner engraved to read “JETS 27 RAIDERS 23” with “EXECUTION” below. The inside of the ring is stamped “BALFOUR” and it has been engraved with the serial number “SA 84060-B”. The ring is in NRMT condition and is nearly identical to the final design given to the 1969 Jets.
