This shirt was worn by Arian Foster on October 9, 2011 when he racked up 184 total yards. The tails of this shirt are hemmed straight across the bottom with an elastic hem and no manufacturer’s tags remaining. Inside the rear collar is a white strip tag with “08-46 LB”, tagged “08” but worn the following year in 2009. Player number “23” appears on the front, back and on both sleeves in white on red tackle twill. Player name “FOSTER” appears across the back in white tackle twill on a blue nameplate. Inside the jersey are remnants of masking tape, perhaps evidence of Foster taping his jersey to his pads. The sleeves are custom with an elastic spandex hem and each feature the Reebok logo patch. At the V-neck is the “NFL Equipment” logo shield with adjacent “TEXANS” embroidered. Foster has signed the back number in black marker adding the inscription “Game Worn 10/9/11 vs. Oakland 23” rating a 7. The jersey is sans manufacturer’s tagging, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows outstanding use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA. Other than what is mentioned, there appear to be no further alterations of any kind.
