"The Juice" was the first professional football player to rush for more than 2,000 yards in a season, a mark he set in 1973. While six other players have passed the 2,000 rush yard mark, he stands alone as the only player to rush for more than 2,000 yards in a 14-game season. He holds the record for the single season yards-per-game average, which stands at 143.1 ypg. Simpson was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985. On the left front tail is the “Sand-Knit” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and size “LARGE”. Above is the “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for Buffalo Bills” tag. Player number “32” appears on the front, back and on both sleeves painted on in white with a red border. Player name “SIMPSON” appears on back in painted on white block letters on a blue nameplate. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows light use. Accompanied by a COA from Bills former equipment manager Bob Munzert which states “This jersey was given to me by OJ after a Bills game, it is authentic and game worn”. Further accompanied by a COA signed by Simpson which reads “To Bob Munzert, good luck wearing my #32”. Also accompanied by an additional LOA.
