Charles “Bud” Wilkinson was head coach of the Oklahoma Sooners football team from 1947-63. His teams posted a 145-29-4 record over that span and he was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 1969. This certificate measures 19” x 23” and was presented to “Charles B. Wilkinson of Oklahoma” when he was appointed “Special Consultant to the President of the United States of America on Youth Fitness” on March 31, 1961. The certificate has been signed by President John F. Kennedy in black ink rating a 7 overall. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA for the signature.
