"Pistol" Pete closed out his Hall of Fame career with a stint with the Boston Celtics during the 1979-1980 NBA season. Maravich retired in the fall of 1980. This reversible green and white mesh practice jersey is both a white jersey with letters and numbers screened on in green and a green jersey with letters and numbers screened on in white, depending on what was needed during a particular practice session. Each configuration features the team name "Celtics" screened onto the front and the player number "44" screened onto both the front and back. There is a "Champion" manufacturers tag with the size "X-LARGE" on the right tail of the white jersey, which is equivalent to the inside left tail of the green jersey. Also included is a pair of mid-1980s Old Timer's Game sneakers belonging to HOFer "Pistol" Pete Maravich. Each of the black and white Reebok size 14-1/2 sneakers has the Reebok logo on the left, right and twice on the heel. On the tongue is the Reebok manufacturer's tag and on the inside of the tongue is the size tag. The practice jersey and sneakers are properly tagged, were presented to us as practice and Old Timers Day worn, respectively and in our opinion, show wear. Accompanied by a LOA from the Maravich family as well as a LOA from the Basketball Hall of Fame.
