Isiah Thomas played point guard for the Detroit Pistons from 1981 until 1994. He led the "Bad Boys" to the NBA Championship in the 1988-89 and 1989-90 seasons. During the NBA's 50th anniversary, he was named one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History. Hall of Fame, class of 2000. On the left front tail is the “MacGregor Sand-Knit” manufacturer’s tag which is a custom tag as the factory did not have a size “40” tag available. “XS” is tucked underneath. Attached is the size “40” flag tag. Above is the “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the Detroit Pistons” tag. Adjacent is a strip tag with “89”. Across the front is “PISTONS”. Player number “11” appears on both the front and back. All these numbers and letters are done in red paint with a white border. Player name “THOMAS” appears on back in white painted on block letters. Thomas has signed the back in silver marker rating a 5-6 which is faded. On the left breast is the official NBA embroidered logo. Inside the rear waistband of the shorts is the “Sand-Knit” tag with size “32”. Adjacent is the “Exclusive” tag as well as a blank label and “88” year tag. The jersey and shorts are properly tagged, were presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, show appropriate use. The jersey is accompanied by a LOA on Detroit Pistons letterhead signed by Assistant Head Coach Brendan Malone. The lot is accompanied by a LOA from JSA. Other that what is mentioned, there appear to be no further alterations of any kind.
