Official Spalding NBA basketball presented to “Dr. J”, Julius Erving, upon his being elected into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. The ball features a vinyl “UMass” sticker along with vinyl lettering on the white panel that reads “JULIUS ERVING - FOR HIS INDUCTION INTO NAISMITH MEMORIAL BASKETBALL HALL OF FAME - SPECIAL BRUNCH MAY 9, 1993”. Some of the letters have since fallen off and some of the material on the white panel has begun to deteriorate. The ball features 37 autographs from various UMass officials, all done in black marker. The ball is in fair condition.
