The trophy stands approximately 12” tall and weighs 16.5 lbs. It was presented to Larry Holmes in 1978, the year he first won the WBC heavyweight title. The trophy features two boxers cast in brass, one standing over the other after a knockdown. The figures sit atop a marble base measuring 10” x 10” x 1”. A plaque on the base has been engraved with “WORLD BOXING COUNCIL BOXER OF THE YEAR 1978”. The trophy is in EX condition.
