Goose was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2008. On the left front tail is the “Russell” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and size “50”. Attached are two flag tags, “100% Polyester” and “2” Extra Body Length”. Across the front is “Oakland”. Player number “54” appears on both the front and back. Player name “GOSSAGE” appears across the back on a grey nameplate. All numbers and letters are done in green on yellow tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the “Elephant with Two Bats” patch. On the right sleeve is the Russell “R” logo. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
