Two-page letter from Elston Howard, handwritten on New York Yankees stationery and dated December 12, 1978. Howard has penned and signed the letter in blue ballpoint pen with the signature rating a 9. The letter reads, “Dear Julie, I am very sorry you are mad at me, because I haven’t did anything to you. All the years I have been with the Yankees, any time you would ask me to go to Brooklyn with the kids and the father I was there. I have never turn you down on anything. I never would because, I knew you will and been with you many times. I am saying again I have never turn you down at all. The Best to you, Elston Howard.” The original Yankees stationery envelope is included, postmarked December 12, 1978 in Teaneck, New Jersey; addressed to Julie Isaacson, President of International Union. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
