The New York Yankees inaugural season in their new stadium ended in grand fashion, winning the franchise’s 27th World Series. Derek Jeter—the all-time leader in hits by a shortstop—captured his fifth World Series ring. On the front left tail is a “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag with a Steiner Sports hologram “145246”. Attached are two flag tags that read “2009” and “48”. On the left inseam is a “100% POLYESTER” tag with size “48”, washing instructions and “0062” wash code. Outside on the rear collar is an official “MLB” logo embroidered. On the front left chest is an “NY” logo. Player number “2” appears on the back. Both are done in the same navy blue tackle twill sewn directly onto the jersey. Jeter signed the jersey on the player number “2” in white marker rating a 9. On the left sleeve is a “YANKEE STADIUM INAUGURAL SEASON 2009” patch. Jeter was 1-4 with a sliding double in a 7-4 win against the Baltimore Orioles. This jersey is unwashed. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA and an LOA from Steiner Sports.
