Harry Danning earned four consecutive All-Star appearances from 1938-1941 and was mostly known for his defensive presence for the NY Giants. Inside the rear collar is a “A.G. SPALDING & BROS.” manufacturer’s tag. Below is a strip tag that reads “Danning” in red stitching. Across the front reads “NEW YORK”. Player number “3” appears on the back. All lettering and numbering are done in blue on red felt. The zipper is intact. Danning signed the jersey on the front left tail in black marker with the added inscription “The Horse” rating an 8. The number on the back has been professionally restored with a matching "3" that was taken from a period NY Giants jersey. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA and a Dobbins LOA.
