Rollie Fingers was inducted to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1992 for more than his mustache. Fingers is a three-time World Series champion, won both the AL MVP and AL Cy Young Award in 1981 and was the World Series MVP in 1974. He became the second relief pitcher ever to be inducted to the Hall of Fame. On the front of the center tail is a “McAuliffe Uniform Corp.” manufacturer’s tag. Below is a “42” tag. Adjacent on either side is a “1976” tag and a tag with washing instructions. On the front left chest is an “A’s” logo in green on white tackle twill. Across the back reads “FINGERS” in green tackle twill sewn on directly on the jersey. Below is player number “34” in green on white tackle twill. On the left sleeve is a very rare, original “1776-1976” patch with a picture of the Liberty Bell. This is the finest Fingers jersey that we have handled to date. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use.
