First-ballot Hall of Famer Rickey Henderson holds MLB records for stolen bases, career runs and the single season steals record with 130. On the front left tail is a “Russell Athletic” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached are two tags reads “100% POLYESTER 44” and “2002”. Across the chest reads “BOSTON”. Across the back reads “HENDERSON” with player number “35” below it. All lettering and numbering done in the same red on navy blue tackle twill. An official “MLB” logo is on the outside rear collar. The left sleeve has an “R” embroidered logo and the right sleeve has a black tackle twill number “9” sewn direction on the jersey for Ted Williams. Henderson signed the jersey between the back player name and number in blue marker with the added inscription “2002 Game Used” rating a 9. Accompanied with an LOA from JSA and a Man of Steal LOA, which indicates this jersey was worn for four games between 9/23/2002 to 9/26/2002. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
