Nolan Ryan leads the MLB in career strikeouts and threw seven no-hitters en route to his Baseball Hall of Fame induction in 1999. Along with Sandy Koufax, Ryan is the only pitcher inducted into the Hall of Fame with more strikeouts than innings pitched. He won a World Series with the New York Mets in 1969. Inside the rear collar is a “W.A. Goodman & Sons” size “44” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. The number “2” is written on it in black marker, denoting the set number. Across the front reads “RANGERS”. Player number “34” appears on both the front and on the back. These are done in the same blue on red tackle twill. Across the back reads “RYAN” in blue tackle twill sewn directly onto the jersey. Inside the rear waistline is a “W.A. Goodman & Sons” manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent is “III” written in black marker. Next to that is a strip tag that reads “RYAN 34-25 ‘92 SET 7” in blue stitching. This uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
