Victor Martinez wore this jersey while launching a solo home run in the fourth inning of Game 3 of the American League Championship Series to tie the game 1-1 against the Texas Rangers at Comerica Park on October 11, 2011. On the front left tail is a “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag. An MLB hologram sticker “824945FJ” is on it. There’s a marking in black marker on this tag. Below is a strip tag that reads “41 48 ‘11 443”. On the outside left seam is a “Cool Base Majestic” tag. On the inseam is a tag that reads “100% POLYESTER” with washing instructions and “0630” code. On the front left chest is a “D” logo sewn directly onto the jersey. Across the back reads “MARTINEZ” and below is player number “41”. All are done in the same navy blue tackle twill. Outside the rear collar is an official “MLB” logo embroidered. The right sleeve has a “SPARKY 11” patch in memorium to Sparky Lyle. The left sleeve has a “Majestic” logo embroidered. The left shoulder has a heavy dirt stain on it. The right shoulder has light dirt markings. Martinez homered in the game. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate to excellent use.
