This uniform was originally sourced directly from Rocky Colavito. The consistent slugger was a nine-time All-Star and led the AL in home runs in 1959 and RBI in 1965. He became the fifth player in AL history to hit 20 home runs in 11 consecutive seasons. Along with the AL RBI title in 1965, Colavito played in every game and became the first outfielder in AL history to finish with a 1.000 fielding percentage. On the front left tail is a “Wilson” size “42” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Below is a white felt strip tag that reads “No. 7 set 1 - 62”. On the front left chest is a “Detroit” logo. On the back is player number “7”. Both are done in navy blue felt sewn directly onto the jersey. Inside the front waistline is a “Wilson” size “36” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Adjacent is a white felt strip tag that reads “No. 7 set 1 - 62”. This uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. This uniform is in immaculate all-original condition.
