"Hammerin” Hank Greenberg was a five-time All-Star and was twice named the American League's Most Valuable Player. He became the first major league player to hit 25 or more home runs in a season in each league, and remains the American League record-holder for most RBIs in a single season by a right-handed batter (183 in 1937, 154-game schedule). Greenberg was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1956. Manuf: H&B. Model Number: Pre-Model. Length: 35 in. Weight: 34.1 oz. Labeling Period: 1938-1940. Wood: Ash. Condition: Cracked at the handle and repaired. Ball marks are visible on the right, left and back barrel. Cleat marks are visible on the front barrel. The lower handle has been scored to enhance the grip. The bat exhibits evidence of heavy use. Accompanied by a LOA from PSA/DNA grading the bat an 8.
