Steve Garvey earned a World Series Championship, an NL MVP and four Gold Glove awards with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Later he led the San Diego Padres to win their first ever National League Pennant, earning his #6 to be retired there. On the outer pinky area is a “Louisville Slugger” manufacturer’s patch. Garvey signed adjacent to this patch in black marker with the added inscription “‘86” rating an 8. “THE EXCLUSIVE “WELL BALANCED” PATTERN” is below. Outside the thumb area is another “Louisville Slugger 125” patch. “Louisville Slugger” is printed outside the thumb. On the top of the wrist reads “STEVE GARVEY” in gold stitching with the number “2” written in black marker above. The "2" likely indicates that this is Garvey's second glove from the 1986 season. The inside thumb area reads “GF125-SG”. The inside pinky area reads “Professional Player Design”. On the palm is “125 SERIES” and “H&B 100 YEARS”. On the inside wrist is “Premium Cowhide Palm”. This glove is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA and an Esken LOA.
