“Wilson” manufactured “A2002” model 11-¾” fielder’s glove. The Wilson circle “W” logo on the wrist strap has been colored in with black marker. The glove is constructed of top-grade cowhide with nylon stitching and features an X-laced anchored solid web, and added index finger sleeve and Wilson’s “Grip Tite Pocket”. Stamped on the top of the glove under the web is the pro model number “507”. Appearing on the top of the thumb in black marker is the name “Mike Weller”. The appearance of the name on the thumb confirms its use by Weller with the glove being attributed to prior use by Jim Kaat. The glove was presented to us as game-used and exhibits evidence of heavy use. Accompanied by a LOA from Denny Esken of PSA/DNA as well as a photo of Kaat with what appears to be this very glove.
