Manuf: H&B Signature Model. Model Number: P72. Length: 34.75 in. Weight: 31.9 oz. Labeling Period: 1983-86. Wood: Ash. Condition: Cracked, hairline crack on the handle. The model number “P72” is stamped into the front barrel. The player number “19” is written on the knob in black marker. Ball/hit marks can be found on the left and back barrel. Blue ball transfer marks can be found on the left barrel. Blue bat rack marks can be found on the back and right barrel. Cleat marks can be found on the front, left and right barrel. There is a moderate coat of pine tar on the upper handle. The gold foil where Yount’s signature is stamped is no longer present. Yount has signed the front barrel in blue marker with the added inscription “Good Luck”, rates an 8. The bat exhibits evidence of outstanding use. Accompanied by a LOA from PSA/DNA grading the bat a 9.5. Further accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
