Tyrus Raymond Cobb spent 22 seasons with the Detroit Tigers, the last six as the team's player-manager. In 1936, Cobb received the most votes of any player on the inaugural Baseball Hall of Fame ballot, receiving 222 out of a possible 226 votes. ONL Giles baseball signed by Hall of Famer Ty Cobb. Cobb’s signature adorns the south panel and is done in green marker with the added inscription, “3/15/60”. The baseball is shellacked and the autograph rates a near 8.
