Nine baseballs from various games of the career of Rusty Staub. We were told by our consignor that the balls were obtained from Staub himself. ONL Feeney baseball signed by Staub on the west panel in blue ballpoint pen with the signature rating an 8. There is an added inscription that reads “Home Run No. 30 against Milt Pappas of Chicago Cubs Sept. 1970 Bases Empty.” ONL Feeney baseball signed by Staub on the north panel in blue ballpoint pen with the bold signature rating a 9. An inscription on the west panel reads “Home Run off Rick Robertson June 8, 1971 2 men on 3 RBI’s.” ONL Feeney baseball signed by Staub on the west panel in blue ballpoint pen with the bold signature rating a 9. An inscription on the south panel reads “Home Run #2 Against Houston’s Jim Ray. Tied Game up in 9th July 30, 1971 No One On.” ONL Feeney baseball signed by Staub on the south panel in bold blue ink with the signature rating an 8. There is an inscription above that reads “Home Run off Steve Blair of Pitts. On August 3, 1971 1 man on.” ONL Feeney baseball signed by Staub on the south panel in bold blue ink with the signature rating a strong 9. There is an inscription above that reads “Home Run #2 off Arlin of San Diego On Aug. 29, 1971 No One On Led Game D.H.” OAL MacPhail baseball with the inscription “HR PERRY” written in red ink above the stamp. Staub has signed the ball twice along with the added inscription “Home Run off Gaylord PErry Aug. 8, 1976 tied Game Btm. of 9th.” OAL MacPhail baseball with the inscription “Sept. 24, 1976 1run Home Run Ken Holtsman” written in red ink over the stamp. Staub has signed in blue ballpoint pen to the left and rates an 8. OAL MacPhail baseball with the inscription “2 run HR Mike Willis July 11 1977” written in blue ink over the stamp. Staub has signed in blue ballpoint pen to the right and rates an 8. OAL MacPhail baseball with the inscription “Sept 5, 1977 1 run HR Btm. of 11th to Beat Balt. off Dick Drago” written in black and blue ink over the stamp. Staub has signed in blue ballpoint pen to the left and rates an 8. The balls are all in EX condition and show nice use with scuffing and dirt spotting. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
