Hall of Famer Al Kaline spent over 20 years with the Detroit Tigers. This baseball dates to Game 1 of the American League Championship Series in which Kaline blasted a solo home run off Rollie Fingers in the top of the 11th inning to give the Tigers the lead. OAL Kronin baseball features eight signatures including Reggie Jackson (ss), Rollie Fingers, Jim Hunter and Bill Freehan. An inscription on the west panel reads, “A’s-Detroit Playoffs Homerun ball by Al Kaline “1972” 10-7-72”. The signatures and inscription are all done in black ballpoint pen and rate a 8 overall. The ball is in EX condition and shows nice use with scuffing and dirt spotting. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
