The gloves offered here were worn by Larry Holmes, “The Easton Assassin”, during the April 8, 1995 defeat to reigning champion, Oliver McCall, who was defending his world heavyweight championship for the first time. “CLETO REYES” manufactured 10 oz. red leather gloves. The “CLETO REYES” logo as well as “HECHO EN MEXICO” appear on the outer wrist of both glove in black and white screen print. “Larry Holmes” is written on both gloves in black ballpoint pen and rates a 7 overall. Holmes has signed both gloves in black marker along with the added inscription, “FIGHT I”. The gloves are in EX condition, they are properly tagged, were presented to us as fight-worn and show appropriate wear. The right-handed glove is ripped and cannot be fully laced up.
