These trophies originate from the personal collection of Larry Holmes. This approximately 20-inch tall trophy sits on a two-tier wooden base which features a silver-coated boxing figure on each side of the lower base and another atop the trophy. The plastic base to the top figure is cracked. The upper base measures 5” x 5” x 2” and reads “1982 VISCO SPORTS AWARD - PRESENTED TO - LARRY HOLMES”. Below it sits a 10” x 7” x 1¾” wooden base which reads “IN RECOGNITION OF - HIS OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION - TO SPORTS THROUGH BOXING. - SEPTEMBER 25, 1982”. The trophy weighs 7.5 pounds and is in VG condition. The 12-inch trophy sits on a 5” x 3” x 1” marble base and reads “GREATER PITTSBURGH ELKS #115 - -78TH THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE - 1986” and weighs 1.5 pounds. The “Eagles Mr. Boxing Award” is a 19-inch trophy that stands on a 9” x 4” x 1” marble base and weighs 4.5 pounds. The 20-inch silver and gold-painted “Boy’s Club Award” rests on a 8” x 8” x 3.5” wooden base that weighs 7.5 pounds. “WBC Heavyweight Champion”, 02/17/1979, 4.5 lbs., 30” x 9” trophy with two tiers separated with gold-painted columns. The “1” of the “1979” on the top tier is missing. Top piece of trophy is loose. “International Boxing Show”, 05/1972, 4 lbs., 15-inch trophy sits on 5” x 5” x 2.5” wood base. Base is loose. “St. Anthony Y. C. Boxing”, 1971, 2 lbs., 12” trophy sits on 4” x 3” x 2” wood base. Trophy is loose from base. “Second Baptist Church”, 9.5” bronze boxing figure figure stands on 3.5” x 3.5” x 2.5” wood base that is on top of 10” x 5” x 1” marble base. Weighs 10.5 lbs.
