After losing the Heavyweight Championship to Hasim Rahman on April 21, 2001, Lennox Lewis had to take Rahman to court to honor their rematch clause in their contract. This blue fight stool is from their second fight, where Lewis got his shot at redemption and didn’t miss. Lewis knocked out Rahman in the fourth round on November 17, 2001 to earn back his title. On the underside of the seat in black marker reads “LEWIS VS. RAHMAN II - MANDALAY BAY - LAS VEGAS - IBR-WBC-IBO - HVWT. CHAMPIONSHIP - OF THE WORLD - NOV. 14, 2001 - RECAPTURED TITLES - KO 4TH RD.”.
