In the late 1930’s the National Basketball League was created by large companies such as General Electric, Goodyear, Firestone and others. The Akron Goodyear Wingfoots were created and won the first NBL Title in 1938. The Wingfoots were then reconstituted to the National Industrial Basketball League. Inside the back collar is a “BUREAN” manufacturer’s tag with a size “46” flag tag attached.The front left sleeve has the number “10” in blue tackle twill. Across the back reads “GOODYEAR” in the same lettering. This warm-up jacket is properly tagged, was presented to us as player-worn and in our opinion shows appropriate wear.
