Inducted to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 1993, Bill Walton started his illustrious basketball career with two straight NCAA Division I titles and three consecutive College Player of the Year Awards. It was more of the same at the NBA level, where Walton won two NBA champions and a league MVP in 1977. Inside the rear collar is a “Adidas” manufacturer’s tag. Below is a tag that reads “50% Polyester 50% Celanese” with washing instructions. On the front right chest reads “SAN DIEGO” in white vinyl lettering. Across the front reads “CLIPPERS” in white on orange vinyl lettering. On the front lower right side is a large 1981-82 official “NBA” logo embroidered patch that was added. On the left sleeve is player number “32” in white on orange vinyl lettering. Across the back reads “WALTON” in white vinyl lettering. This jacket was originally Issued to Sidney Wicks and the re-lettered and numbered for Walton. This jacket is properly tagged, was presented to us as player-worn and in our opinion shows appropriate wear. Accompanied by an equipment manager LOA.
