Inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 1998, Larry Bird became part of the 50-40-90 club, shooting over 50% for field goals, 40% for three-pointers and 90% from the free-throw line—in two consecutive seasons. Inside the rear collar is a “Champion” size “46” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Adjacent is another tag that reads “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for BOSTON CELTICS”. There is a “90” tag, a “3”LB” tag and a blank strip tag. On the right inseam is a “100% NYLON” tag. On the front right chest is an official “NBA” logo embroidered. Across the chest reads “CELTICS” painted in white with a yellow paint trim. Across the back reads “BIRD” in green tackle twill sewn onto a white satin nameplate. Each sleeve has a Celtics clover logo in white paint with a yellow paint trim. This jacket is properly tagged, was presented to us as player-worn and in our opinion shows appropriate wear.
