In his junior season at the University of Colorado, running back Rashaan Salaam ran for 2,055 yards and 24 touchdowns to become the first and only CU player to win the Heisman Trophy, college football's highest individual honor. This size 10.5, 14k gold ring weighs 39 grams. It was presented to University of Colorado Buffaloes running back Rashaan Salaam after he was selected as the recipient of the 1994 Heisman Trophy. The top panel reads “HEISMAN MEMORIAL TROPHY” along with four round-cut diamonds on the perimeter. The face of the ring features 18 round-cut diamonds along with the image of the Heisman trophy in relief. Two of the diamonds on the face has been replaced, four diamonds have been fractured. The right panel reads “SALAAM” in relief along with “COLORADO”, “1994 THE HEISMAN”, the casted image of the Heisman trophy and “SINCE 1935” below. The left panel reads “DOWNTOWN ATHLETIC CLUB OF NEW YORK” above the casted image of the “DAC” logo and “FOUNDED 1928”. The inside of the ring is stamped “HJ 14K” and engraved with the player name “Rashaan Salaam”. The ring is in EX condition. Comes with the original wooden case engraved with the Heisman Memorial Trophy logo.
