Fran Tarkenton was inducted into the Football Hall of Fame in 1986. Along with winning the NFL MVP in 1975, Tarkenton was a nine-time Pro Bowl selection and is the Minnesota Vikings career leader in passing yards and passing touchdowns. On the front left tail is a “Sand-Knit” manufacturer’s tag that reads “Designed & Tailored Exclusively For The MINNESOTA VIKINGS”. Below is another “Sand-Knit” tag that reads “LARGE”. Player number “10” appears on the front, back and both shoulders. Across the back reads “TARKENTON” on a mesh nameplate which is atypical for Vikings jersey in this era. All lettering and numbering are done in purple vinyl. Plate is affixed with a straight stitch, which is proper and matches known examples. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows light use.
