Inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1993, Walter Payton won the AP NFL MVP award, AP NFL Offensive Player of the Year and the Pro Bowl MVP in 1977. Payton captured a Super Bowl title in 1986 with the Chicago Bears. Payton’s legacy lives on with the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, which honors a player's volunteer and charity work along with his excellence on the field. On the front left tail is a “Wilson” size “44” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Player number “34” appears on the front, back and each sleeve. Across the back reads “PAYTON” on a white mesh nameplate. All lettering and numbering are done in the same navy blue on orange vinyl lettering. This jersey came to us from a recycled clothing sorting facility. It is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
