From the Boston to Milwaukee, the final stop for the Braves was in Atlanta in 1966, where they currently play. On the front left tail is a “Rawlings” size “44” tag. Below is a tag with washing instructions with a number written on it in black marker. Inside the rear collar is a felt strip tag that reads “Nixon 1966 1”. This was probably a Spring Training jersey because Nash was a non-roster player. Across the chest reads “BRAVES”. Player number “26” appears on both the front and on the back. All lettering and numbering are done in the same red on navy blue tackle twill sewn directly onto the flannel jersey. The left sleeve has the “Braves” logo patch embroidered. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as team-issued and shows appropriate use.

This shirt was created for use and issued to Ken Nixon who made it though spring training and was actually on the opening day roster in '66 but unfortunately never made it into a major league game.
