This 1948 style jersey was worn by manager Lou Piniella, then manager of the Chicago Cubs, on June 12, 2008 in a game against the Atlanta Braves commemorating the 60th anniversary of WGN Cubs telecasts. On the left front tail is the “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag with size “50” flag tag attached. On the left chest is the “Cubs” logo disc patch. On back is the manager’s number “41” in blue tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the “Majestic” logo embroidered in blue. On the inseam is a “100% POLYESTER” tag with washing instructions. It is signed under the front logo in blue marker rating a 7 overall. There is an added inscription that reads, “Game Used Turn Back The Clock Jersey”. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as worn and in our opinion, shows appropriate wear. The jersey has been photomatched to Getty Images #’s (82035373, 82035485, 82036351 and 82036352).
