Yogi Berra was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972. The legendary Yankees catcher won 10 World Series Championships as a player and three as a manager. The 3-time AL MVP has his No. 8 jersey retired by the New York Yankees. On the front left tail is a “Wilson” size “44” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Inside the rear collar is a strip tag that reads “Berra 83 2” embroidered in navy blue chain stitching. On the left chest is an “NY” logo. On the back is player number “8”. Both are done in the same navy blue tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as coach worn and in our opinion shows appropriate wear.
