First-ballot, 2014 Baseball Hall of Fame inductee Greg Maddux combined his skill, precision and brain to carve up opposing lineups. On the front left tail is a “RUSSELL ATHLETIC” size “46” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached is a tag that reads “100% POLYESTER”. Below is a tag that reads “2-00”. On the outside rear collar is an official “MLB” logo embroidered. Across the chest reads “Braves” in red on navy blue tackle twill above the team’s tomahawk logo done in the same material. Across the back reads player name “MADDUX” in blue tackle twill on a white nameplate which has been applied crooked. Below is player number “31” done in red on navy blue tackle twill. Maddux signed the back player number “3” in black marker and in our opinion, rates a 7. On the right sleeve is a patch that reads “Braves ALL STAR GAME 2000”. On the left sleeve is a “Russell Athletic” logo embroidered. We were told by our consignor that this jersey was purchased from a Braves fundraiser. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows light use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
