Circa 2000 Tony Gwynn San Diego Padres Game-Used & Autographed Road Jersey (JSA)

Tony Gwynn was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2007 on the first ballot. Gwynn played 20 seasons for the San Diego Padres and won eight batting titles, tied for the second most in MLB history. The 15-time All-Star was seven Silver Slugger Awards. On the front left tail is a “RUSSELL ATHLETIC” size “50” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached is a “100% POLYESTER” flag tag. Across the front reads “SAN DIEGO”. On the back is player number “19”. These are done in the same navy blue on white on orange triple tackle twill. Across the back reads player name “GWYNN” in navy blue tackle twill sewn directly onto the grey jersey. The left sleeve has a “SAN DIEGO PADRES Baseball Club” logo disc patch and the right sleeve has a “Russell Athletic” logo embroidered. Gwynn signed inside the player number “1” in silver pen and in our opinion rates a 7. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows light use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA, two PSA/DNA LOAs and an additional LOA.
