Clint Eastwood’s one of many iconic roles was Josey Wales from The Outlaw Josey Wales, released in 1976. In 1996, it was deemed "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" by the United States Library of Congress and selected for preservation in the National Film Registry. It was also one of the few Western films to receive critical and commercial success in the 1970s at a time when the Western was thought to be dying as a major genre in Hollywood. The revolver comes in a 13” x 15” x 5” wooden display case and a COA from Ellis Props that certifies this “1800s STYLE CAP & BALL REVOLVER #36024 has been utilized in “THE OUTLAW JOSEY WALES” BY CLINT EASTWOOD.”
