Jim Morrison is arguably the greatest lead singer in Rock and Roll History. Morrison turned his poetry into song lyrics and unfortunately died too early in his creative process. The shirt is made of white muslin, double breasted in front with a Nehru Collar. The pants are leather. This outfit is very similar in style to clothes Jim is seen wearing on stage in photos during 1968-69 when Jim discovered his unique sense of style. The original source of these items was from a friend of Danny Sugarman, who was The Doors professional representative. It’s noted that Morrison liked to discard outfits quickly, and Sugarman saved some of his personal items. Accompanied by an LOA from the original collector and the man who purchased the items from him
