The Kentucky Colonels were a member of the American Basketball Association for all of the league's nine years. The Colonels won the most games and had the highest winning percentage of any franchise in the league's history. An approximately 11” tall ceramic trophy, signed by the 1972-73 team who would the Eastern Division. Ceramic ABA basketball with the alternating red, white and blue panels with, “EASTERN DIVISION CHAMPIONS - ABA- 1972-73 KENTUCKY COLONELS” painted on it in black. There are over 20 signatures done in blue marker and in our opinion, rates a 6-7 overall. Signatures include: Rick Mount, Dan Issel, Artis Gilmore, Louie Dampier, Bill Chamberlain, Mike Gale, Wendell Ladner, Jimmy O’Brien, Pierre Russell, Walter Simon, Ronald Thomas, Claude Virden and others. 5.5 pounds. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA. This lot will require additional shipping and handling charges due to its weight and fragility.
