Johnny Lattner won the 1953 Heisman Trophy and Paul Hornung was the 1956 Heisman Trophy winner. Hornung was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1986. The leather padding on the inside of the helmet is intact. On the suspension padding, size “7 3/8” is written in pen. Original chinstrap. Helmet is in VG condition overall. Both Lattner and Hornung signed the top of the helmet in black pen and in our opinion, rates an 8 overall. Lattner has the added inscription, “Heisman ‘53” and Hornung has the added inscription, “55 HOF”. This helmet is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
