On the strap of the hip pads reads “Rawlings” indicating manufacturer. On the outside right pad model “LKP” is stamped. On the bottom center is a size “32” tag. Paul Hornung and Johnny Lattner both side the hip pads in black pen with the added inscriptions, “56 H.” and “Heisman ‘53” respectively and in our opinion, rates an 8 overall. A pair of “SPOT O BILT” black cleats. The manufacturer’s tag is inside the tongue of each cleat. Inside on the ankle of each cleat reads “SPORT O BILT” in white stitching. Hornung signed the left-footed cleat in silver pen with the same aforementioned inscription and Johnny Lattner signed the right-footed cleat with the same aforementioned inscription and in our opinion, rates a 6-7 overall. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
