Member of the New York Giants Ring Of Honor, Phil Simms won two Super Bowl championships with the New York Giants. He was named Super Bowl XXI MVP and won a regular season MVP in 1986. Simms holds the record for the highest completion percentage in a Super Bowl, completing 22 of 25 passes (88%). On the front left tail is a “Sand-Knit” manufacturer’s tag that reads “Designed & Tailored Exclusively For The NEW YORK GIANTS”. Below is another “Sand-Knit” size “44” manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent is an “87” strip tag. On the right inseam is a tag that reads “100% NYLON” with washing instructions. Player number “11” is painted on the front, back and both sleeves in white with a red trim. Across the back reads player name “SIMMS” in white vinyl lettering on a blue mesh nameplate. The nameplate has been restored. Simms signed on the front player number “11” in black marker with the added inscription, “To Kristen, Best Wishes” and in our opinion, rates a 7-8. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows light use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
