Alex Webster was a two-time Pro Bowl selection. In his first season with the Giants, he led the team in rushing. Webster is 10th on the Giants’ career scoring list, and is a member of the team’s Ring of Honor. On the front of the crotch piece is a “SAND KNIT” size “48” manufacturer’s tag. Above is a “THORP” distributor’s tag. Player number “29” appears on the front, on the back and on both sleeves in white tackle twill. There are small team repairs on the back and along the seams of the jersey. Full sleeves with sewn-in elbow pads. This jersey is a great surviving piece of early NFL history and is in immaculate all-around condition. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows excellent use. Accompanied by an LOA from Webster that states he kept this jersey from his playing days with the Giants.
