Y.A. Tittle was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1971. Tittle was the first quarterback to throw for 30 touchdowns in consecutive seasons. He was a two-time NFL MVP and led the Giants to three consecutive title games from 1961-63. “RIDDELL” manufactured “KRA-LITE” suspension helmet. The shell is an RK2, 12-point suspension which features the rare and highly sought after bubble eared molding. The suspension padding is intact and has size “7 1/8” and the number “2” stamped in black on the padding. Original leather ear pads intact. Player number “14” is on the front and the back of the helmet in white. A “NY” white decal is on either side of the helmet. Original two-bar facemask. Painted red stripe down the center. Concussion padding covers the entire crown, shell sides and rear shell. This helmet is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an additional LOA.
