Two black and white photos signed by Charles Murphy with the added inscription “Stretch” in blue marker. A rectangle cutout of Alfred N. Cervi that describes his basketball career. Cervi signed the paper in black pen. It reads, “To Mike - Sincerely Al Cervi”. A black and white photo of Ernie Schmidt in his Kansas State Teachers College of Pittsburg uniform, signed by Schmidt in blue pen. On the back of the photo reads “1st year at Pittsburg Kansas University, 1929. A print out of John “Cat” Thompson that goes along with a copy of a newspaper article and a rectangle cutout of his basketball career. All three copies are signed by Thompson in blue pen. Two black and white photos of Bob Kurland, signed by Kurland in black marker with the added inscriptions “Best Regards” and “Best Wishes”, dated “8/16/83” and “3/4/83” respectively. (one info missing). A letter from Barry Biegelsen to Bob Kurland dated 3/6/83, asking Kurland if he could sign some letters and photographs for his collection. Signed by Biegelsen and Kurland in black marker. Finally, a copy of a “BASKETBALL HALL OF FAME CERTIFICATE OF ELECTION - John Ashworth Thompson - MONTANA STATE COLLEGE ‘30 - has been elected by the Honors Committee to the Basketball Hall of Fame as COLLEGE PLAYER”. Signed by John A. Cat Thompson in black marker. In our opinion, the signatures rate a 7 overall. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
