Gary Payton, better know as “The Glove”, was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in in 2013. One of the best defensive guards in NBA history, Payton was voted NBA All-Defensive First Team nine consecutive seasons and was named the Defensive Player of the Year in 1996. He won an NBA Championship in 2006. On the front left tail is a “Sand-Knit” manufacturer’s tag that reads, “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the SEATTLE SUPERSONICS”. Below is another “Sand-Knit” size “42” manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent is a white swatch with “88” (carry over) and a white strip tag with “4”LB” embroidered on it. On the right inseam is a tag that reads “100% NYLON” with washing instructions. On the left chest is an official “NBA” logo embroidered. Across the front reads “SONICS”. Across the back reads player name “PAYTON”. These are done in white paint on a green cloth background. Player number “2” appears on the front and on the back painted in green with a yellow paint border. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an additional LOA.
