The UCLA Men’s basketball program under John Wooden was the most successful era of any team in college athletics. UCLA teams coached by John Wooden won 10 national titles in 12 seasons from 1964 to 1975, including seven straight from 1967 to 1973. UCLA went undefeated four times, in 1964, 1967, 1972 and 1973. “MacGregor” manufactured basketball. Stamped on the basketball is “NCAA 1969”. Around this stamp, “UCLA NCAA CHAMPIONS UCLA 92 Purdue 72” is written in black marker. There are 15 signatures and in our opinion rate a 6-7 overall. Signatures include: Lew Alcindor, John Wooden, Kenny Heitz, Curtis Rowe, Sidney Wicks, Bill Seibert, John Vallely, George Farmer, Steve Patterson, Terry Schofield and others. Along with the signatures, “3/22/69 @ Louisville, KY.” is written, along with “UCLA - 92 PURDUE - 72”. This basketball is in EX condition and is accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
